The Real Mo Farah

60’ for BBC One

Sir Mo Farah reveals the shocking truth about his childhood, the journey he made from Somaliland to the UK as a young boy, and the subsequent years that led to him winning two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics

Premiering on BBC One to over 4 million viewers, the film struck a chord with audiences, shedding light on an important and often overlooked issue.

We approached this project with a focus on honesty and sensitivity, allowing Mo's story to speak for itself.

The documentary went on to receive critical acclaim, including winning a BAFTA for Best Single Documentary and the Grierson Award for Best Sports Documentary, and it was picked up by broadcasters around the world.

While we're proud of the impact The Real Mo Farah has had, we're most gratified to have played a part in bringing this important story to a global audience.
